Astute Backs the Bournemouth Ukrainian Refugee Collection Appeal

As the conflict in Ukraine touched the hearts of people around the world, the Astute team wanted to do something practical to help. We are proud to have supported the local Bournemouth community in collecting much-needed supplies for the people of Ukraine.

A community effort

What began as a simple idea quickly grew into something far bigger. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, their friends and their families, donations poured in — filling boxes and crates with the essentials that refugees needed most.

Collected items included:

• Blankets, sleeping bags and sleeping mats
• Thermal clothing and thermal tents
• Toothbrushes, toothpaste and hairbrushes
• Instant food and instant milk for babies

We cannot thank everyone who contributed enough. The response was overwhelming, and it is a powerful reminder of what a community can achieve when it comes together for a cause that matters.
